Skin care for Sensitive skin

What is sensitive skin?
The skin which can't stay in sunlight even for short periods, allergic to cosmetics and several products, develop rashes in response to external effects like climate, food, plants, touch etc.
This type of skin needs more care.

Skin care :
  • Clean your skin only twice in a day. Use cream cleanser instead of soap cleanser. Herbal cleanser is better. Use very mild scrub meant for sensitive skin only.
  • Toning is not necessary after cleansing for sensitive skin. If you want to do toning then dilute the toner with water and then use it. You can use cucumber juice and rosewater as toner.
  • Clean your face properly as dirt residue on your skin will lead to more rashes and allergies.
  • Use umbrella in sun and rain.
  • Don't use artificially scented beauty products.
  • Use facial oils only when your skin is extremely dehydrated.
  • Give your skin a good steam once in a month. But keep the distance and time of steam in mind.
  • Exfoliation may lead to rashes which further leads to pimples. So avoid using different types of harsh scrubs on your face. Green or raw papaya is good for exfoliation of sensitive skin. Take grated raw papaya and apply it on face for 3-5 minutes and then wash it.
  • Clay masks and cream masks are good for sensitive skin. Use once in a week.
  • For oily+ sensitive skin use clay masks
  • For dry+sensitive skin use cream masks.
  • Do patch tests before using any cosmetic on your skin.
And at last love and care your god gifted skin. You are always beautiful in your natural skin . :)

Control hairfall naturally and get back your lost hairs with natural homemade oil!!

Hi!!
How are you all doing?
In this post I am going to share with you the homemade recipe for hair fall control. I have very nice thick, strong, wavy hair. I generally never faced severe hair fall problems. But few months ago I faced severe hair fall. I ignored it at first but then one day I realized that my pony is becoming thinner and thinner and my hairs were lifeless. Then I decided to do something to control and revert the damage.I came up with this fantastic oil mixture. It not only controlled my hair loss but also helped in the growth of new hairs ( yes!!! I was amazed to see little hairs on my scalp ). And yes it has also accelerated my hair's lengthening process, controlled split ends, increased luster, soft hair .... and more and more :)
For preparing the oil :
You need :
1. Olive oil
2. Pure almond oil
3. Castor oil

Method :
Mix equal proportion of all three oil depending on your hair length and thickness.Divide your hairs in to small sections and apply the oil mixture on your scalp and massage properly with finger tips.Leave on for 7-8 hour ( you can apply it in night). Wash it off with any shampoo you prefer.Do this alternate days for quick result.

Try it. You are surely going to love this!! :)

CLEAN AND CLEAR - clear fairness cream review

Hi!!!
In this post I am going to review Clean And clear- clear fairness cream.
I love Johnson's & Johnson's baby products ( I use many of their baby products for myself :P ) so I brought this fairness cream as it is also a product of Johnson's & Johnson's.

Price - 65  for 20 gm tube.
For skin type - they have not mentioned on the pack but i guess it is for oily skin (or normal to oily)
Ingredients (from website):
Water, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide (and) Dimethicone (and) Alumina, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer (and) Isohexadecane (and) Polysorbate 80, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Stearic Acid, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Alcohol, dicaprylyl Carbonate, Niacinamide, Aluminium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Titanium Dioxide (and) Mica, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Methylisothiazolinone (and) Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Prunus Cerasus (Bitter Cherry) Fruit Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, CI 17200

Results claimed - CLEAN & CLEAR™ clear fairness cream has a breakthrough formula enriched with cherry extract & multivitamins instantly brightens and lightens skin for fair skin. It’s unique Pure Rice™ Oil Control System helps control oil and it’s UV filters protects the skin from harmful UV rays which causes darkening. It is oil free and won't clog pores. It gives pinkish fairness that lasts 3X longer (3 times longer).
My experience with the product -
The packaging is cute in pink color but the nozzle is a turn off, I can't control the amount I need because of this nozzle. The smell is light floral. The consistency of the skin is slightly thin but gets absorbed by the skin nicely.
Clean & clear fairness cream on my freshly cleaned skin.
My skin after i massaged the cream
The cream brightens up your skin to some extent.Fine lines are reduced giving a fresh look to your skin.It keeps skin oil free for 2-3 hours. Its result remains for 2 to 3 hours on my skin and after that my skin gets back to its original state .So I don't think the 3X claim is true.It gives a very light pinkish glow ( as you can see in pictures). It gives you instant fairness but the effect is temporary. They have not specified details about their UV filters so you have to apply some screen to protect your skin from sun damage.

Pros -
1. Cute packaging
2. Instant brightening effect.
3. Gives fresh look to skin.
4. Mild fragrance
5. gives matte effect.
6. affordable

Cons -
1. Only instant effect
2. 3X claim is false.
3. No good sun damage control.
4. Nozzle is not good.
5. Effect is not for long period.
6. Lots of chemicals.

My rating

2.5/5
have you used this product? let me know. :)
love you :)

JOVEES papaya and honey mud face scrub - review

Hi lovely ladies !! :)
In this post I am going to review "jovees honey and papaya" face scrub.

For skin type : Normal to dry skin
Price : 165 for 100 gm
Active ingredients : Papaya seeds, honey, fenugreek, margosa.
Results claimed : smoother clearer and refined complexion.

My experience with product
First lets talk about the packing. The packing is nice. The cap assures that the product do not spill.
Now lets get back to the main hero " scrub ". The smell is nice , not so strong. It is a daily scrub so it is mild. The scrub beeds are not harsh on skin.I was not so excited  to use the product first time so I just followed the "method of use" given at the back side of tube (except the day cream part). I rinsed my face with plane water and wiped the water off my face, and when I touched my face it was buttery smooth. soooooooo smooooth :).and yes my skin became visibly clear. I just loved the after effect. Yes it does what it claims, and the feel of touching my skin was similar to that of touching a baby's skin. :) :)

After I washed my hands it was like this :
Pros:
1. Smoother skin.
2. Clearer skin
3. Mild enough for daily use.
4. Natural ingredients.
5. Scrub beeds are not harsh.
6. Decent price.
Cons :
1. Not found !! :P

My rating

Blue eyes ;)

hi!! This is my first makeup post. Hope you like it. :)
For this eye makeup I have used :
1.Concealer
2.Blue eye liner (shimmered is preffered)
3.Black eye pencil
4.Eye shadows: baby pink, golden, brown, black and silver shades
5.Eye lash curler
6.Mascara
7. Kohl pencil
I have not mentioned brand names. You can use any brand you love.
Alright!!!lets start.... :)
Steps
1.This is my eye without concealer.
2.Apply concealer to reduce dark circles and marks.
3.Apply blue eye liner (little bit wider).
4.Apply black eye pencil ( make sure it does not cover up the blue eye liner i.e. black line should be thinner than the blue line)
5.Take baby pink eye shadow on a brush and also add some brown shadow onto the brush.Apply it starting from the inner corner of the eye towards the outer corner. Now take the golden shade mix it with brown shade and apply it on the eye lid. Smudge the colors carefully. Now take little amount of black shadow and add it with silver and brown shadow and start applying it from the outer corner of eye towards the center of eye lid following the crease line.
6.Smudge the shadows with clean brush. This step is tricky..you have to make sure you don't mix up colors.smudging will help bring softness to your eyes.
7. Curl your lashes and apply mascara to upper and lower lash.
8. This step is optional. You can apply kohl pencil if you love using kohl. :) ( I am a kohl addict ;) )
so.. you are done with your eye makeup..hope you love it. :)
